2. Unlimited Hosting Accounts

The monthly subscription charge covers you for the costs associated with setting up as many hosting accounts as you like. Additional charges apply to optional extras such as spam filtering, .net and any wholesale broadband subscriptions you setup. As a reseller you can set the prices for the services you sell, we don't dictate what these should be.

3. Invoices & Support

It is your responsibility to bill your customers and provide first level support. Our control panel has been designed to provide you with the tools and diagnostics that you will need. ICUK is available to you on the phone and via email for further assistance with faults and for advice.

Cron Jobs

Short for 'chronograph', cron is a time scheduling service on UNIX operating systems used to periodically execute commands. Once installed on an account, it is possible to schedule the execution of scripts within an account's webspace at various points throughout the day, month or year. Common website tasks that benefit from time scheduled execution include the expiration of data, sending of emails on specific dates, billing purposes, clearing out log files or caches and generating reports.

IP / Password Restricted Directories

Restrict directory access to specific hosts or IP addresses, without needing to manually create .htaccess rules.

For each account you can setup as many password protected folders as required. This allows you to store data and restricting access to only those who should be able to see it.

Both of these controls are provided on an account basis within the control panel.

FrontPage 2002 Extensions

FrontPage extensions allow you to use the publication feature and dynamic page elements available in Microsoft's FrontPage software. You should only install the server extensions if you intend to use Microsoft's FrontPage software to create and upload your web site. There are no additional charges associated with installed FrontPage on Linux accounts.

Custom Error Pages

When a request is made for a file on your site that is no longer available visitors will be displayed with a standard uninformative page. The customer error pages allow you to present something more informative and in the style of your website allowing you to increase the chances of retention to your site.

Graphical Website Statistics

View both real-time and historical information about the visitors to your web site. You can both view detailed Webalizer graphical statistics through our control panel. These are provided as a free option on all accounts.

Stats Only Control Panel

Should you prefer not to provide customers with a control panel, but would still like to grant them access their website statistics, a separate "stats.yourdomain.co.uk" interface can be provided to your clients at no additional charge.

One Click Installation Scripts

Customers on our Linux hosting platform can now access simple one-click scripts. These help assist you through the installation process of common popular open source scripts. We have various different categories of scripts to choose from including Blogs, Content Management, Forums, Wiki and Picture Galleries.

php.ini Editor

We have provided an easy to use php.ini configuration editor, and link to the phpinfo output. What's more is that as a reseller you can replicate existing settings from other accounts to speed up multiple deployments.

Error Logs

View a log of any errors generated by your website or scripts via our control panel. This is ideal for spotting problems with your sites scripts before your customers do.

Raw Log Files

This can prove of high value to customers who require to know more about their visitors than provided in the graphics statistics section. There are no extra costs associated with our raw log files.

Website Backup

Resellers and clients now have the ability to easily backup and store locally a full copy of all website files including images and databases via the control panel. Simply click on the backup button for a website and a zipped download is presented for easy storage on your machine. All our servers are backed up off-site every 24 hours as standard.

XML API

Our unique hosting and xDSL XML API (Application Programming Interface) provides our resellers an easy and highly powerful way of interfacing with our servers. The possibilities are endless allowing you, but not limited to, interacting with every aspect of our platform through your own control panels, desktop applications or scripts.

Additional FTP Logins

When you create a hosting account the username and password picked can allow you instant access to the account via FTP. Our control panel allows you to setup additional FTP Logins on a per account basis, allowing customers and web site users to access and upload files directly by FTP within a web site itself. Our control panel allows you to specify an 'FTP Login' quota as well as the read or read-write permission on each login.

Shared & Professional SSL

Ensure that your customers' data is protected with 128bit encryption to minimise risk to them, and maximise your sales. Shared SSL is provided on an anonymous domain of https://www.securedweb.co.uk/username/. There are no additional costs associated with shared SSL on the Linux platform.

Alternatively opt for a professional SSL certificate of your own based on your domain name. A static IP address with its own secure server is configured for your site and a 128bit SSL certificate registered for your organisation and installed upon it.

Unlimited POP3 Mailboxes

Using any standard POP3 compatible mail applications, such as Microsoft Outlook, The Bat! or Ameol, you can send, receive and filter mail locally. There is no size limits on our POP3 mailboxes, although we do impose a 90 day limit on how long you store the messages on our server. If storing them locally on your own computer isn't an option then our IMAP mailboxes are perfect as mail can be stored indefinitely on our mail platform.

Unlimited FREE IMAP Mailboxes

Email stored on an IMAP server can be manipulated from a home PC, a workstation at the office, or even your phone, without the need to transfer messages or files back and forth between each computer. As standard we now provide you with the ability to setup unlimited FREE IMAP 100MB mailboxes, and larger 1GB, 2.5GB and 5GB options are also available for a small additional annual charge.

SMTP Outbound Email

Authenticated outbound SMTP is provided as standard. In order to use it a user must authenticate a mailbox username and password. This will allow you to send email regardless of your location or ISP. We even provide alternative port numbers should your ISP impose blocks on the standard port 25.

Unlimited Auto-Responders

Set up an immediate response to any incoming mail arriving at your mailbox. You can create an unlimited number of auto-responders per account. These are ideal if you just want to confirm receipt of an email, or perhaps to announce there will be a delay in your response owing to absence from the office.

Unlimited Email Forwarders

Forwarders direct email to either a POP3 / IMAP mailbox, or to an externally hosted email address (eg myaddress@gmail.com). They provide a great way to setup multiple addresses, but direct them all to one place.

Catch All Addresses

Although we don't recommend the use of catch all solutions, mainly because of the amount of spam you can attract, we do allow you to set a catchall to forward all received emails to a specific mailbox.

Unlimited Group Addresses
(Multi-Recipient Address)

A group address provides the facility of one mail address having multiple recipients. Ideal for a sales team where mail is to be routed to more than one people. You an route to a POP3 / IMAP mailbox or an external recipient. There are no limits to the number of group addresses you can setup.

Webmail

We now provide two types of webmail to choose from where you can read your mail from any browser in the world. Ideal if you or any of your clients travel or require immediate and fast access to your email. This includes address book and calendar features, and is branded in a generic colour scheme. Reseller Spam + Virus Filtering

Using a custom built spam filter unique to ICUK, our spam filtering services allows you to configure every aspect of which messages are considered spam. SPAM filtering is available on a per account basis at £20.00 per annum, for resellers, with a 14 day free trial. CLICK HERE for further details.

MySQL 5

The MySQL database server is the world's most popular open source database. As a Linux Reseller you can setup and manage an unlimited number of MySQL databases on your reseller hosting account at no extra charge, ready for you to resell to your clients. Each hosting account setup can house upto 10 databases.

Unlimited Disk Space

There is no restriction on the amount of web space your accounts may use. You can, however, set quotas on your own clients through the control panel and monitor their usage accordingly.

Our only condition is that the content stored must be for use of the website. We do not allow you to simply store backups.

Unmetered Data Transfer

We have removed our data transfer limits on our hosting reseller accounts. As a reseller you can however place restrictions on the amount of bandwidth that an account can consume. Although the account will continue to work if exceeded, it provides you with an opportunity to provide upgrade paths with greater resources for a higher subscription charge.

Personal Name Servers

Personal Name Servers allow you to use your own domain as the name of the DNS name servers on which you host your domain names. Your clients will use and see in the whois output name servers in the format ns1.yourcompanyname.com and ns2.yourcompanyname.com, with their own Static IP Addresses. Personal name servers are supplied as an addition service. By default resellers can utilise our generic ns1 & ns2.interdns.co.uk name servers.
