You'll probably be familiar with the twin menaces of email borne viruses and unsolicited email, commonly referred to as spam. You'll understand the annoyance caused by that avalanche of junk email which somehow finds its way uninvited into your inbox, destroying the efficiency of your email system, consuming expensive bandwidth and wasting your valuable time.

Cron Jobs - £10 Per Year

Short for 'chronograph', cron is a time scheduling service on UNIX operating systems used to periodically execute commands. Once installed on an account, it is possible to schedule the execution of scripts within an account's webspace at various points throughout the day, month or year. Common website tasks that benefit from time scheduled execution include the expiration of data, sending of emails on specific dates, billing purposes, clearing out log files or caches and generating reports. A small charge of £10+VAT per year allows you to setup 10 Cron Jobs.

IMAP Mailboxes

This is an extremely powerful way of interacting with your email without the need to store emails locally. Instead all messages are held on our mail platform and can reached using a mail client or webmail. The advantage over regular POP3 is that it will always look the same however you connect to it: messages will retain their status on the server, including their read status, flagging or whether they've been replied to. This is ideal for people that use mail from multiple locations.

We supply free 100MB IMAP mailboxes for you to try with, or if you opt for one of our larger, chargeable mailboxes, they are supplied on a 14 day free trial as standard.

Raw Log Files - £15 Per Year

On our shared UNIX and Windows plans we have now introduced access to Raw Log Files. Each time your site is accessed, the web server logs information regarding the hit to a file. Data stored includes the date and time, the files downloaded, the referring site and information about the user's computer.

In circumstances where our graphical statistics do not fulfil your needs, you may enable the storage of log files for your account. The web server will retain log files for the past 14 days enabling you to download them for analysis using your own software.

128 Bit Shared SSL - £15.00 Per Year

You have access to a shared secure server under the domain name securedweb.co.uk in which you can create anonymous secure space for your own use or to resell.

1GB Additional Bandwidth - £15.00 Per Month

Each time your site is accessed data is transferred across the Internet, our transfer limits are high, less than 1% of our customers exceed them. Data transfer can be monitored in real-time via your control panel, should you exceed your limit, simply pay a small surcharge of £15 per 1000MB.
